We recently reported about real-life couple Mihir and Maninee Mishra being roped in for & TV’s Laal Ishq
Now, the latest update is that Kaal Bhairav fame Rahul Sharma has been roped in for Laal Ishq opposite actress Aishwarya Raj.
A source close to the project revealed, ‘The story revolves around how ram leela is celebrated in a different way in a village, where Sita is literally sacrificed to the demon Ravula. In a turn of events, Aishwarya aka Vaidehi volunteers to become Sita. How these two save the chosen Sita aka Deepika (daughter of the sarpanch) from the Ravula forms the crux of the story.’
Rahul has been a part of Laal Ishq episodes before as well opposite Patrali Chattopadhyay and Shafaq Naaz, whereas Aishwarya has been a part of Paramavtar Shri Krishna and Tenali Rama.
