FilmFarm India’s Do Dil Bandhe Ek Dori Se on Zee TV will come to a logical end by end of this month, and we have already reported about the loyal fans of the show and also its cast being upset with the news. Actress Snigdhha Pandey, best known as Bela on the show is one of those disheartened lot, and expresses her disappointment.

Snigdhha essayed the role of the very positive sister of Raghu (Arhaan Behll) and she can’t thank the producer of the show Rupali Guha enough for it. “I essayed the role of an out-and-out negative character in Navya, and in spite of that Rupali mam showed faith in me and offered me Bela.”

Talking about her journey in the show she states, “It’s been a great one year. I would say it has been more of a roller coaster ride and the end did come as a big shocker to us. I was very close to my family in the show and I am going to miss them a lot, especially my mother in the serial Shubhangi Latkar, and Ishrat Ali who essayed my father. I always called them maa and bappu. Now, I won’t get to do that.”

The actress who hasn’t been shooting for the last one week is completely looking forward to meeting her on-screen family for the last time on set. “Some people aren’t born in blood relation but faith brings them together. This family is my adopted family and I know that the reunion will be an emotional one. Everyone’s going to be crying. After all this was my family away from family (her actual family is in Kolkata).”

Any fond memories? “Yes, travelling to Kashimir. I had never crossed Dahisar before this show happened to me, and now I’ll miss that part of the city.”

What’s next for the actress? “I’ve seen the best of both worlds, having played negative and positive. So I’d be happy if either of it comes my way. But I am looking at lead roles at the moment. I have already started getting calls from production houses, so let’s see how things work out.”

We wish you luck with your future endeavours, Snigdhha.
