Rupali Ganguly Talks About Her Comeback With Star Plus’ Anupama

Actor Rupali Ganguly needs no introduction when it comes to her career where she has been in some of the finest shows especially when it comes to her role of Mohnisha Sarabhai in Sarabhai vs Sarabhai.

Now, Ganguly is all set to make her acting comeback with Star Plus’ show Anupamaa, which is reportedly the remake of Bengali show, Sreemoyee.

The show revolves around Anupamaa, a homemaker who dons multiple hats like any other and her life includes an endless amount of demands and to-dos. Anupamaa fulfils all the requests lovingly and happily out of the love she has for her family.

Apart from Ganguly, the show also stars Sudhanshu Pandey who plays her on-screen husband along with a large ensemble cast too.

In an interview with Times of India, Ganguly said, “This show is doubly special to me because it has been immensely loved by people from my father’s hometown and also being a mother myself I can relate to the different aspects of Anupamaa’s character. Bengal is where I started my acting career from and the people have always showered me with love and affection. I’m confident that the Hindi television watching audience will enjoy the show as much as the audience in Bengal has.”
