After Just Three Months, Aarti Bahl Exits ‘Sanjivani 2’

There certainly was a lot of excitement and wait when it was confirmed that actor Aarti Bahl will be joining husband, Mohnish Bahl in Star Plus’ Sanjivani 2. As soon as she entered, the show did ignite a certain spark and things got interesting when it comes to the storyline.
However, within three months of her track in the show. Bahl is all set to exit and will be replaced by Seema Pandey. When asked about the sudden change in the script and if it has upset her, she said, “Not really. These things happen in our profession, it is not unusual. A love track was planned between Dr. Shashank Gupta and Roshni Mathur (Mohnish and Aarti), but it didn’t take off as the makers felt that it was not required and so, it was better that I do not continue with the show.”
On his take, producer Siddharth Malhotra said, “It was unfortunate, but then everyone knows that such changes happen in TV shows. I did not want to waste Aarti’s talent and hard work because the focus is only on Sid (Namit Khanna) and Ishan (Surbhi Chandna).”
Interestingly, Pandey, who now replaces Bahl in the show played the same character in the beginning and now makes her return.
